Why this set
Not every climbing wall wants to look like a gym. These are shaped and textured like water-worn rock, so a panel on a garden fence reads as part of the landscaping and not as sports equipment bolted to the boundary.
The stone profile is genuinely different to climb. Edges are rounded rather than cut, so the hand has to close around the shape instead of hanging off a lip. It is slightly harder and considerably better practice for anyone who will eventually climb outside on real rock.
Load rating and hardware match the rest of the range — two hundred and thirty pounds per hold, two inch bolts, weld nuts behind the board. The resin is UV stable, which on a south-facing fence is the specification that decides whether the wall still looks right in year three.

Great value for cost
This is perfect for our kids’ indoor ninja gym. They’re sturdy and great value for the cost. My only complaint is I wished it had more larger pieces. Our 5 and 6 year old can climb no problem, but our 3 year old has a harder time. Overall excellent product

I bought the TOPNEW 32 Rock Climbing Holds set to build a small climbing wall for my kids, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The holds feel solid and well-made, with a nice variety of shapes and sizes so we could set up both easy and slightly more challenging routes. The bright colors make the wall look fun and inviting, and they give the kids an easy way to follow “color routes” when they climb.Installation was straightforward: each hold came with the necessary mounting hardware, and once we had our board prepped and drilled, it was just a matter of bolting everything in place. The holds sit firmly with no wobble when tightened correctly. We’ve had them outside for a while now and they’ve handled regular use and changing weather without any cracks or fading so far.

Initial quality seems very good. It is a similar plastic to other outdoor play equipment I have had and those have held up well for me historically. The item is well made and a great budget option for kids. The variety of holds is great. However, make sure you read the dimensions in the product description. I cannot stress this enough. The bolts are only 2" long and thus only work on boards or plywood up to 1.25" thick. didn't catch this and had to counter bore all the backs so they would work with the 2x8 wall I had already constructed. This was very time consuming and frustrating at times, which was made worse by the fact that the holds do not all have the same thickness. This is my one criticism of the product. The portion the bolt recesses into varies from hold style to style, so I had to bore even deeper just to get many of them to fit. Save yourself time and read carefully.

We love this product so much. It’s best to screw them on a wooden board vs directly to wall, because the screws should be held in by something solid. It comes with the hardware and some extras. You have to have some handyman/carpentry experience or get a pre-drilled wall. Probably not to easy to install for the average person. It was a good value too, it’s been fun for my son who started using it at 2yo, and even adults can use it! Would definitely buy again!
