Why this set
Blacked-out is the finish for a bike that has already lost its chrome. A silver bezel in the middle of a dark fairing is the one bright spot the eye goes to, and on a murdered-out build it undoes the whole look.
Electrically and optically identical to the silver version: dual LED optics, DOT, SAE and E-Mark approved, visibly better than the original halogen at dusk and at night. The approvals are the reason this is a road part rather than a styling part.
Plug and play for model years 2004 through 2013 with the instructions in the box. Allow longer than you think for the fairing itself — the headlight swap is the quick part of the job.
