For a truck with one set of front holes and two things to hang.
Why this set
Front plate brackets and light bar brackets compete for the same real estate, and most trucks have exactly one set of factory holes to give. This part does both jobs from those holes: the plate sits in its frame, the bar bolts to the upper flange, and nothing is drilled into the bumper.
Thick-gauge steel with a coated finish, which is the specification that matters on a part cantilevering a light bar off the front of a vehicle. Thin brackets flex at speed and the beam wanders; this one resists both flexing and warping under load.
It takes bars and spot lights from three inches up to twenty, and fits most standard US plates and vehicles with front plate holes. Off-road use is the design case, so the coating is there to survive stone chip rather than only to look finished.

Notes from families who built with it
This is Steel!!
I got this today, its a heavy steel not bulky but nice and heavy, smooth black coating, I read the review by Invoxicated and his review is pretty spot on, so not a lot to add to mine?? I think the add to this noted heavy duty, not 100% sure its heavy duty, but this is built pretty good and should hold up for sure!!! Pre drilled holes for the lights and for mounting, however, its thin enough that if you do have to drill more holes it wont be a problem. Overall pretty pleased with this product.

This simple bracket made for an incredibly clean LED bar install on my friend's car. I was a bit hesitant at first to pay $20 for a piece of metal with a bend and some holes in it, but after holding it in person, I can definitely say it's worth it. It's nice and heavy with virtually no give whatsoever. Had the bumper mount not been secured to plastic, I'd easily say I could have stood on it. Good stuff, you won't be disappointed.

Super easy install! Perfect product for mounting a front license plate on 2019 (3rd gen) Tacoma. Did NOT want to drill through plastic bumper, and this was a perfect alternative. As you can see in the image, it mounts using preexisting bolts in front of skid plate. It mounts to metal, so no warping or bending. And even mounted low like this, it’s not lower than the skid plate, so there’s no reduction of clearance.

I lost the license plate bracket on my semi trailer so I purchased this to replace it. I was surprised at how thick and heavy the metal is to make it. This is not going to break off so easy. It has predrilled bolt holes both for mounting and for the license plate so it’s easy to replace an old or missing one. The only downfall to it is there’s no room to mount a light over the plate. If your light is mounted to whatever you’re installing this on it won’t be an issue but mine was mounted on the plate bracket itself. I ended up getting a light that has a bracket that uses the plate holes and put it on using the bottom plate holes facing the light upwards instead of downward from the top. It would be perfect if it had about an inch more room to install a light. Other than that it was perfect for my install.
