For a tall trunk, or two climbers of different heights.

Why this set

Eighteen is six holds more than the standard kit and they all go in the same place: the gaps. A twelve-hold course up a tall trunk has reaches a shorter climber cannot make, and filling those in is what turns a course for one child into a course for a family.

The palette and the shapes match the twelve-hold kit exactly, so the two combine into one long route without a visible seam. Families who liked the smaller set and then found the tree had more height than they used generally end up here.

Ergonomically shaped, textured against slip, rated to two hundred and thirty pounds each, weather resistant. Six ratchet straps carry the lot; nothing touches the tree but webbing.

Notes from families who built with it

  • Big Kid Fun

I got the black set bc they are used in the front yard. They are pretty discreet when the ratchet is placed away from the street. Installed on a very large live oak tree, which is otherwise difficult to climb as it leans to one side. Installation tip: make sure the holds are maybe 12" away from the ratchet before you tighten. In order to release the strap, the ratchet has to be completely open flat. If the hold is too close, you will have to cut the strap to remove it. Can confirm these are strong enough for big teenage boys, as long as you ratchet the strap as tight as possible. Placing a flat top hold for feet is sturdier for the adult size users.

  • Great grip design & texture. Easy to install and remove. Love the singular color.

Very nice holds! The grip design allows for strong grabs and the texture helps as well. These are great! Very easy to put up and take down (if need be). I know the colored ones seem to be more popular. But certain colors can be difficult for sensory processing - black was perfect for us. Quality product. Solid design. Easy to use. Would recommend and definitely buy again - for more trees! Lol

  • Great product

Put these up on a tree in the front yard, and all the kids absolutely love climbing and having a blast on them! Very durable and even handle an adult climbing well!

  • Thanks

Nice product. Just not sure we can use it on our tree. Wish I would have bought the ones with bolts.
