Why this set
Six straps spread up a tall trunk cover a longer climb than most people plan for, and twelve holds across that distance leaves gaps a child cannot bridge. Twenty fills it: three or four grips per strap, close enough that the next move is always within reach.
The extra count also lets you build around the tree rather than straight up it. A spiral route keeps the climber low to the ground for longer, which is both safer and considerably more fun than a vertical ladder that ends at the first branch.
Same resin, same three shapes, same five colors as the smaller kit — the two mix freely if you start small and add later. Each hold is rated to two hundred and thirty pounds and shrugs off sun and rain.

Great Way to Get Kids Outside and Moving

So fun! My kids are absolutely loving these. I didn't want to put nails into our tree so I looked for a different option. I didn't expect these to work as well as they do, but they're fantastic. When put on correctly we have had no issues with the slipping or coming loose. There were two that slipped but that was user error because they were on slight bumps. The "rock" part needs to be as flat as possible on the tree. The circumference is HUGE. I've had to roll up the ends and zip tie them so they don't hang loose. The ratchet straps work extremely well. This could be used around anything, not just trees. These would be great for any size tree. Unless you have a giant sequoia, you're not going to have a problem with these being too small. The colors are fun and they're a great price for what you get. I haven't tested them out with a grow-up-weight but they work great for my teenagers.

TOPNEW 12 Ninja Tree Climbing Holds for Kids is one of the most ingenious inventions ever made for kids! Now kids can access tree climbing even more safely! I love these things! We got sets for trees at both our older son's house and at our younger son's house for our grandkids to play in their back yards. AND we got a set for our house, too! I love to be able to take the grandkids out to our yard for outdoor play when they come to visit. This is an awesome gift idea for any occasion for any child and I would purchase again in a heart beat! SO EASY to strap onto any tree, these holds are terrific! I highly recommend! (advisable to assist any really small child until they get adept at climbing and returning to the ground safely)

Kids love them, very fun, and they were easy to install. I was a bit worried they would mess up the tree, it seems fine I guess but I wish there was a pad to go between the ratchet and the tree. The only other thing is the ratchets are just a little sharp and I worry just a little about someone cutting themselves.
